“Curves, 30-minute Fitness for Women” is a club where any woman of any age can easily drop in for just a 30-minute workout without a reservation. With a core user group consisting of women aged 50 and over, Curves operates about 2,000 locations throughout Japan.

According to a survey by Service Productivity & Innovation for Growth (SPRING), Curves has been No. 1 in customer satisfaction in the fitness industry for 10 years in a row.
Curves originated in the United States, founded in Harlingen, Texas in 1992. In 2005 Curves reached Japan with the establishment of Curves Japan. The Curves location network in Japan has grown steadily since then, reaching 1,000 locations in June 2011, 1,500 locations in October 2014 and over 2,000 locations in October 2019.
In Japan, Curves is working to improve and expand its operations on several fronts. We are taking steps to bring the high level of customer satisfaction we have earned to an even higher level. By strengthening our marketing, we are reaching out to a new generation of potential members. Curves is also aiming for further growth through partnerships with industry, academia and government, and by means of new business initiatives.
Overseas, the Company will energetically apply the expertise and business model it honed in Japan to its operations as a global franchiser, further strengthening its operating base.
When you become a shareholder in Curves Holdings, you gain dividends and shareholder privileges, as well as voting rights in proportion to the number of shares you hold.

Each year, shareholders who hold at least 100 shares (one unit) as of August 31 can choose to receive an across-the-board gift of a ¥500 Quo card.
Shareholders can participate in the management of their company by using the voting form at general shareholder meetings.
